PDF Files

Adobe Acrobat files (pdfs). To open and print the PDF files, you will need a copy of the Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is available from the Adobe Web site.

Some people have experienced problems with reading pdf files. Changing your preferences as outlined here will solve the problem:
  1. Open Acrobat Reader,
  2. Choose File, Preferences, General,
  3. Remove the tick from where it says Web Browser Integration and click OK. (This will load the PDF into the viewer rather than within a screen in your browser),
  4. Exit Acrobat Reader.
The pdf file will now open as a separate window and all your problems with "freezing" will be over.

Alternatively if you dont want the document to open now but wish to save it to your computer for later reference click the right mouse button on the link to that document and choose "save target as" and save the PDF file to your computer. You can then open, read and print the pdf from your machine.
